Using this site, ringing the number on it or sending us photographs means you are content with what follows. None of it is unusual; most of it exists so that nobody is surprised later.
What the pages on this site are for
They explain how drywall and plaster problems in this area are caused and repaired, and roughly what that costs. They are written from experience, not from a manual, and they are general by necessity: nobody can diagnose a wall from a paragraph. Reading a page here is not a substitute for somebody looking at your ceiling.
Every figure on this site is a ballpark
The ranges published here are researched estimates of what work of that kind tends to run in the Tri-State, not an offer and not a quote. What your job costs depends on access, height, what is behind the surface and what the last person to repair it left behind. Material and labour costs move, so published figures are subject to change without notice. A binding number arrives in writing after somebody has seen or been sent a picture of the actual damage.
Telephone calls
The number on this site is answered by an automated voice assistant at least some of the time, and calls are recorded and transcribed. Ringing it means you accept that. Ask for a person and you will get a call back from one. This line is not an emergency service: if water is actively coming through a ceiling, shut the supply off and ring a plumber first, and if anyone is in danger, ring the emergency services.
Booking and cancelling
A date is confirmed once we have both agreed it in writing — by email, by text, or on a signed estimate. Let us know as early as you can if you need to move it. Weather, an earlier job that turned out worse than it looked, or a wall that has to dry before it can be closed will occasionally move a date at our end, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
What we need from you on the day
Somebody to let us in or a workable arrangement for access, the room reasonably clear of anything breakable, and a note of anything unusual behind the wall — old wiring, a pipe run, a previous repair. We cover floors and furniture and clean up, but drywall work makes dust, and a room in the middle of a repair is not a room you can use.
Work we will not take on
We repair and finish walls and ceilings. Structural framing, electrical, plumbing, roofing, mould remediation and asbestos abatement are other trades, and where your problem turns out to belong to one of them we will say so and point you at the right person rather than papering over it.
Payment and workmanship
Whatever payment schedule and workmanship terms apply to your job are the ones written on your estimate, and that document governs if it ever disagrees with this page. Nothing on this website is itself a warranty.
The photographs you send us
Sending a picture gives us permission to use it to work out a price and to plan the repair. It does not put it on this website. If we ever want to show a before-and-after publicly we will ask you first, by name, and a no is a no.

A few pages cite outside sources — building codes, manufacturer guidance, public data. We link them because they are useful. We do not control them and are not answerable for what they say today.
Limits
This site is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will be reachable every minute or free of every error, and we are not liable for a decision taken purely on the strength of a page here rather than on advice about your own property. Nothing on this page limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Which law applies
These terms are read under the law of the State of West Virginia, where the work is carried out.
Revisions
We update this page when the way we work changes. The date beneath the heading tells you when that last happened, and continuing to use the site after a revision means the revised version is the one that applies.
